Mougins School

Prepare for tomorrow's world with an education worthy of today

PTA News

I attach a short update of upcoming PTA activities. Please also visit our website for the latest news.
The Outdoor Learning Classroom now has a fence! On Wednesday 27th November a group of parent and teacher volunteers will paint it. The next stages are to lay paths and to install a raised bed. Mrs. Bearman is currently seeking quotes and David Sidney is assisting with overall coordination. We have around 1000 euros available funds - all donations of either time, materials or money are greatly appreciated. For more details contact Rachel Aspegren (PTA lead) or Chris Bearman, Head of Primary.

The next Coffee Club event will be the popular festive Cookery Demonstration on Tuesday 3rd December. The catering company ‘Bridie Simple Food’, run by Bridie Roberts, a school parent, has volunteered to provide a cooking demonstration and tasting. A fee of 20€uros will be charged to cover the cost of the ingredients, refreshments and recipe handouts. Places will be limited; so if you would like to attend, please RSVP to coffeemorning@mougins- school-pta.com as soon as possible, and secure your place with payment into the PTA box in the school office.

Please also support the Primary School Christmas Market, 11th December, details in a separate article.
The PTA will organise a school wide Festive Cake Sale on Friday, 13th December. Parents from all school years are asked to donate cakes to be sold at break and lunchtime, and after school at afternoon collection time. We would particularly appreciate traditional festive/seasonal cakes and biscuits. This is a super opportunity to show off your national delicacies (mince pies, Lebkuchen ...).

Finally, the November Culture Club’s visit to Old Nice had to be cancelled due to demonstrations in Nice, but will be rescheduled in the new year.

Thanks for your Support! PTA Committee
