On Saturday 7th December members of the Mougins School Primary Choir will be singing at the annual Mougins Village Christmas Market.
This is always a joyous occasion and our students’ voices ring out in the village showcasing our musical talent. About fifty of our students will perform in the Place des Patriotes et 17h00.
Two more Christmas performances are organised at the Victoria Emera senior citizens’ home in Mouans Sartoux where the Primary Choir will, once more, showcase their talent with two concerts, one for the French speaking residents and another for the English speaking section run in collaboration with Sunnybank Association.
For the seventh consecutive year the Primary School students will be organising a collection of new gifts which will be given to children who are in the Lenval Hospital in Nice during the festive season. This initiative is carried out in collaboration with a much loved octogenarian, the aptly named Madame Gentil (kind), who has become a popular personality amongst the younger children, and is treated to a very big musical ‘thank you’ for her organisation of this initiative. Our thanks go to all those parents who have given so generously over the years.
