Tell us about yourself:
I am the head of IT at the school and have been working at Mougins for over 15 years. I previously worked for IBM, Honeywell and for the French TV station TF1. I am someone that loves a challenge and have finished numerous Marathon’s, obstacle races and even a Swim and Run competition. I love the “Crossfit” lifestyle which is characterized by safe, effective exercise and sound nutrition, I hope to bring this to the school and create a community for students and staff.

Tell us about your greatest achievement
I was very proud of the staff during COVID, we went from a non online school, to having online lessons, meetings and support groups all while working from home (mostly). I was very impressed and still am at how hard the people of the school work towards adapting and learning to provide a better service. I want to say a “big thank you” to the staff for their relentless effort during COVID “well done” everybody.
Personally, last year I was accepted into the “Fédération Française de la Protection Rapprochée” after being vetted and this was a big milestone in being fully recognised in France within security.
What was your steepest learning curve?
A lot of my training in French has been challenging, I am fluent in French but nothing test’s your skills in a foreign language, other than advanced first aid under stress. I think any project with the right planning and organisation can be achieved, understanding what is needed for the task can help that curve be a little easier, remember the learning never stops!
Mougins is a great place because …
…of its community, I enjoy where I work because of the people I work with, staff and students make the school what it is: a great place!
What would you like to share with the community?
